The IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) has announced their support of presidential candidate Donald Trump. Here’s how they explain it.

The International Defensive Pistol Association is proud to announce their endorsement of Donald Trump for President of the United States. There has never been an election with more serious potential outcomes for firearms owners and shooters as the one we are facing in November, 2016.
This is the first time that IDPA has officially endorsed a candidate for any elected office. We have never felt this strongly about the potential risks this upcoming election brings.
While it’s obvious that the second amendment to the Constitution is at risk, you must also understand that the whole Constitution will be at risk, as well. I encourage each and every member to get out and vote this year. Our freedoms and existence as we know it depend on each and every one of us.
We have to stand together or we will fall apart.
